For teachers

Give your students something to do between lessons.

You teach it. Practiz is where they practise it. Quick rounds of questions at their level, on everyday themes, with words that come back before they forget them.

Why it helps

Practice that fits around your lessons.

Most of a language is learned between lessons. Practiz gives your students a few minutes of the right practice on the days you don't see them.

  • It doesn't teach. No lessons, no grammar from scratch. That stays your job, and Practiz says so.
  • It's at their level. Students pick their level, and every question sits at it.
  • It's on themes you already cover. Fifteen everyday themes, from food and travel to work and health.
  • It brings words back. Words come back when they're due, so last week's words get another go.

All questions
Is Practiz a language course?

No. Practiz doesn't teach new lessons or explain grammar from scratch. It gives you practice: questions on words and sentences at your level, marked as you go. It works best next to whatever you learn with.

Does it work with the app or class I already use?

Yes, that's the idea. Keep your streak there and keep going to class. Practiz doesn't connect to other apps or know what your class covered this week, so it won't follow your course lesson by lesson. It practises the everyday words of your level and the themes you pick, which most courses cover too.

Which level should I pick?

Each level comes with a line to help. A1 is “I can handle simple everyday phrases”, A2 “I get by in familiar, everyday situations”, B1 “I can chat about most things I care about” and B2 “I hold my own in real conversations”. You can practise at A1 and A2 today. Torn between two? Pick the lower one. You can change it any time in Settings.

How long until I get my invite?

Usually less than a week. Join the waitlist, click the link in the email we send you to confirm your spot, and your invite comes by email.

Is Practiz free?

Every account starts with 5 free sessions, and you don't need a card. After that, Pro is $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year.

Can anyone else see my progress?

No. There are no public profiles or leaderboards. Your words, streak and sessions are yours.
